Our Story
The Charming Stylist began with a single opportunity
A local boutique owner gave me the chance to create and sell my very first collection—a line of handcrafted Halloween décor for children. At the time, I honestly had no idea where the business would lead or what it would eventually become. I simply knew I loved creating.
Even though the path wasn't clear, there were three things I knew with absolute certainty.
First, I knew I wanted to create beautiful, handcrafted pieces. I've been drawn to florals for as long as I can remember. There's something about the beauty and simplicity of a thoughtfully designed arrangement, bouquet, or wreath.
Second, I knew I was passionate about celebrations. I loved transforming our Christmases into magical winter wonderlands and creating unforgettable celebrations for my daughters' milestones. While I never envisioned becoming an event planner, I knew I wanted to play a role in the styling and designing portion of an event.
Finally, I knew I had a strong eye for design. While I couldn't yet see the full picture of what The Charming Stylist would become, I had complete confidence in my ability to create beautiful, elevated pieces with thoughtful attention to detail.
Over time, those passions naturally came together, and The Charming Stylist began to bloom into something I didn’t expect.
My love for design began long before The Charming Stylist—it started in childhood.
From birth, I grew up with a creative passion, and yearning for design and creating. I spent a significant period of my life understanding visual arts and that understanding continued on with me.
After my husband and I were married, that passion naturally evolved into our own home. I became captivated by interior décor and florals, teaching myself through years of trial and error to create handcrafted statement pieces that reflected the soft, timeless aesthetic I loved.
Friends and family continually encouraged me to turn my creativity into a business. More importantly, I realized I wasn't just decorating a home—I was creating a feeling. I wanted our home to feel warm, welcoming, peaceful, and beautiful. That desire to create spaces that make people feel something remains at the heart of everything I design today.
The Moment It All Clicked
As I began refining the products I wanted The Charming Stylist to be known for, another unexpected opportunity found its way to me—much like the first.
Close friends of my husband and I had just completed a beautiful event venue in South Tampa called Milly's. They envisioned it as a gathering place where local businesses, families, and the community could come together to celebrate special moments. After attending some of my events - and watching me spend countless hours in my craft room with their two children, encouraging them to dream, create, and simply enjoy making something with their own hands - they asked a simple question:
"Have you ever thought about teaching workshops?"
The moment they asked, something clicked.
It reminded me of a chapter of my life that I had loved so deeply—my years as a personal trainer.
At first glance, floral workshops and personal training may seem worlds apart, but to me, they couldn't be more similar. Every day, I stood in front of groups of people with little to no experience, guiding them through something that felt intimidating at first. My role was to break each step down, make it approachable, build their confidence, and create an environment where they felt supported from beginning to end.
By the end of each session, they weren't just proud of what they had accomplished—they felt stronger, more confident, and excited to come back.
That same feeling is exactly what I wanted to create through Sip & Style™.
I realized I already knew this lane. I knew how to teach. I knew how to organize a process into simple, manageable steps. Most importantly, I knew how to make people feel comfortable—even in a room full of strangers. I understand that many women walk into a new experience wondering if they'll be "good enough" or worried that everyone else knows more than they do. My goal has always been to remove that fear and replace it with confidence, encouragement, and genuine enjoyment.
Working with women has always been the most rewarding part of my career. As a trainer, I loved helping them realize they were capable of far more than they believed. Watching their confidence grow was every bit as fulfilling as watching their physical progress.
Today, I carry that same passion into every Sip & Style™ Workshop. While the tools have changed from dumbbells to florals, the purpose remains exactly the same: to create an experience where women feel welcomed, encouraged, inspired, and proud of what they've created.
For me, it's never just been about the finished piece—it's about helping someone discover they're more creative and capable than they ever imagined.
The Charming Stylist Today
Today, The Charming Stylist has two distinct offerings, each born from the same passion for beautiful design and the belief that creativity isn't reserved for artists—it's something everyone can discover.
The first is a thoughtfully curated collection of luxury faux floral statement pieces—including handcrafted wreaths, garlands, floral arrangements, and seasonal décor designed to become timeless features in your home.
The second is Sip & Style™, our boutique floral workshop experience. These intimate workshops are designed to bring women together to create, connect, and leave with a beautiful piece they're proud to display. More than simply making something beautiful, they're about slowing down, enjoying meaningful conversation, and celebrating creativity together.
Everything created under The Charming Stylist is guided by one mission: to create more than beautiful décor—we strive to create meaningful experiences. Whether you're welcoming guests with a custom wreath, styling your home for the seasons, or gathering around the table at a Sip & Style™ Workshop, I believe beautiful details have the power to bring people together and transform ordinary moments into lasting memories.
Every design is handcrafted in small batches using carefully selected premium faux florals and quality materials. From the first stem to the final ribbon, each piece is thoughtfully designed with craftsmanship, intention, and lasting beauty in mind. Rather than mass-producing products, I focus on creating timeless designs that feel personal, elevated, and uniquely special.
