Display Recommendations
Your floral piece is designed to be enjoyed indoors or in a protected outdoor space.
For outdoor display, we recommend placing your piece in a covered area such as a covered porch, lanai, entryway, or other sheltered space where it is not directly exposed to rain or harsh weather.
To help preserve the beauty of your design, avoid prolonged exposure to:
• Direct, intense sunlight
• Heavy rain or moisture
• Strong winds
• Extreme heat
• Storms or harsh weather conditions
If severe weather, heavy rain, or strong winds are expected, we recommend bringing your floral piece indoors until conditions improve.
Fluffing After Delivery
Your floral piece may shift slightly during packaging or delivery.
Upon arrival:
• Gently separate blooms and greenery by hand
• Adjust stems as needed
• Reshape ribbons and bows
• Fluff florals until your piece reaches its intended fullness

UV Protection & Resistance
Each floral piece from The Charming Stylist is treated with a UV Resistant spray before leaving our studio to help reduce fading and extend the life of your design.
UV Protection and Resistant Sprays helps to preserve the color and appearance of your piece, but no artificial floral design is completely fade-proof when exposed to prolonged sunlight or outdoor elements.
For pieces displayed outdoors, we recommend periodically reapplying a UV Resistant spray made for artificial florals, greenery, or outdoor décor.
Recommended Care Products
To help preserve your investment, consider periodically applying a UV spray designed for artificial florals and greenery. We believe in using only the very best florals for your arrangement, because of this a mixture of faux florals are used to create our infamous layering, and overlapping technique. We use premium real touch, and high quality silks in our wreaths & garlands. Because of this reason we do not recommend using any UV protectant sprays. Always keep in mind that although these sprays help in preserving your floral piece they are not fool proof, and several very light coats will need to be applied for optimal protection.
Recommended product types:
• UV Floral Resistant Spray such as Krylon UV-Resistant Clear Coating
• Earthflora UV Outdoor Foliage Spray Sealer
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and test in an inconspicuous area first.
When using these products please be very careful as to not spray too closely to your floral design. Keep a 12-14 inches in distance, and apply only in very light coats is highly recommended. Heavy spraying, or using a uv protectant spray not listed above might deteriorate or discolor your faux floral arrangement.
Application Tips for UV Protection Sprays
- Clean the Surface - Before applying any spray, ensure your artificial trees and flowers are clean and free of dust or debris. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently wipe the surface.
- Apply Evenly - Hold the spray can 12-14 inches away and apply in a sweeping motion to ensure even coverage. Avoid oversaturating one area.
- Allow Proper Drying Time - Most sprays require 24-48 hours to fully cure. Keep the items in a shaded area during this time.
- Reapply as Needed Depending on the spray and the level of sun exposure, reapply every 3-6 months for optimal protection.
Cleaning
To keep your floral piece looking beautiful:
• Dust gently with a feather duster
• Use a cool hair dryer setting to remove light dust
• Use a soft paintbrush for delicate florals or detailed areas
Avoid water, cleaning sprays, harsh chemicals, or scrubbing.
Storage
When not in use:
• Upon arrival we recommend keeping the box your floral piece was delivered in.
• Store in a cool, dry, climate-controlled area
• Keep away from excessive heat and moisture
• Avoid placing heavy items on top of your piece
• Store in the original box whenever possible
